About The Position

XTEND is seeking an Investor Relations Manager based in New York to lead day-to-day investor relations as XTEND transitions to becoming a NYSE-listed public company. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will own the quarterly earnings process, run the non-deal roadshow (NDR) and conference calendar, manage sell-side analyst and buy-side investor relationships, and serve as a key partner to the CFO, CEO, and Legal/Compliance on Regulation FD, disclosure controls, and shareholder communications. This is one of the company's first dedicated IR hires, offering the opportunity to build XTEND's public-company IR infrastructure, disclosure cadence, and street relationships from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Quarterly Reporting & Earnings Process
• Own end-to-end management of the quarterly earnings cycle: press release drafting and fact-checking, earnings deck/slides, prepared remarks, Q&A prep, and coordination of earnings call logistics (webcast, transcript, replay).
• Partner with the CFO and FP&A to build and maintain the quarterly reporting calendar, ensuring alignment with NYSE listing requirements and SEC filing deadlines.
• Coordinate mock earnings calls and Q&A rehearsals with the CEO and CFO, anticipating analyst and investor questions on backlog, bookings, margins, cash runway, and program milestones.
• Maintain the investor relations content library: fact sheets, investor presentation, FAQ document, and non-GAAP reconciliation support.

Non-Deal Roadshows, Conferences & Investor Targeting
• Plan and execute the NDR calendar across key financial centers, coordinating logistics, scheduling, and briefing materials for management.
• Build and continuously refine a shareholder identification and targeting program using ownership-analytics tools to prioritize institutional outreach and identify actionable investor targets.
• Represent XTEND at sell-side-hosted investor conferences and manage the annual calendar of conference participation, speaking slots, and 1x1 meeting scheduling.
• Own relationships with sell-side equity research analysts; support initiation-of-coverage efforts and monitor research notes for accuracy and tone.

Disclosure, Compliance & Governance Support
• Act as a first line of defense on Regulation FD compliance, flagging material non-public information and maintaining a disclosure log.
• Support the CFO and General Counsel on proxy statement drafting, annual meeting logistics, and coordination with the transfer agent and proxy solicitor.
• Monitor trading activity, short interest, and analyst/media commentary; escalate promptly to the CFO and CEO with market color.
• Support capital markets transactions as they arise, including drafting of offering-related investor materials in coordination with legal counsel and underwriters.

Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Track share price performance, trading volumes, and peer/comparable company performance across defense-tech and autonomous systems peers.
• Prepare regular IR reporting packages for the CFO, CEO, and Board, including ownership composition, analyst sentiment, and investor feedback themes.
• Maintain the investor relations website and digital content, and partner with FP&A and Legal to ensure the accuracy of financial and public disclosures across investor materials.

Investor Materials, Storytelling & Cross-Functional Alignment
• Own and continuously develop the investor presentation/deck, including creating and updating slides, fact sheets, earnings materials, investor FAQs, and other investor-facing materials.
• Work closely with the CFO and CEO to develop, sharpen, and maintain XTEND's investor story and capital-markets narrative, including preparation for investor meetings, conferences, NDRs, earnings calls, and other investor engagements.
• Support the CFO and CEO with presentation development, talking points, Q&A preparation, briefing materials, and investor messaging.
• Coordinate investor-facing messaging and content related to SEC filings/registration materials and other public-company disclosures, together with Finance, Legal, and external counsel.
• Work closely with XTEND's external IR agency/advisors, managing day-to-day coordination, deliverables, investor outreach support, market intelligence, and relevant IR activities.
• Partner closely with the Marketing/Communications team to ensure the investor story and the broader corporate story remain aligned.
• Work closely with the Marketing/Communications lead on messaging and storytelling, ensuring consistency across investor presentations, earnings materials, press releases, corporate communications, the website, and other public-facing content, while maintaining appropriate disclosure requirements.

Requirements

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
• 5-8+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, sell-side/buy-side capital markets, or corporate finance at a public company, investment bank, or IR advisory firm.
• Direct experience managing or supporting quarterly earnings processes, NDRs, and investor conferences at a NYSE-listed company.
• Working knowledge of Regulation FD, SEC disclosure requirements, and NYSE continued listing standards.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; comfort with non-GAAP reconciliations, consensus estimate analysis, and peer benchmarking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the polish to draft CEO/CFO-ready materials under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with IR and market-data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Q4/Notified or comparable IR CRM/webcast platforms).
• Based in or willing to relocate to the New York metro area; willingness to travel ~20-30%.

Preferred:
• Experience at a newly public company (IPO, SPAC/de-SPAC, or business combination) or building an IR function from an early stage.
• Familiarity with the aerospace & defense, autonomous systems, robotics, or broader deep-tech/hardware sectors.
• Experience supporting capital raises (follow-ons, ATMs, PIPEs) from an investor communications standpoint.

Additional Details

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (with a dotted line to the CEO)

Location: New York, NY - hybrid (3-4 days/week in-office); frequent domestic and select international travel for NDRs and conferences

Company HQ: Tampa, FL, with Israel-based engineering/production operations; NY seat supports capital-markets proximity to the sell-side, buy-side, and NYSE
