Full Job Description

The Investment Strategy Specialist will join the CIO Office in a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of investment strategy, portfolio guidance, and CIO Office operations. This individual will help translate the team’s macroeconomic research, market views, and investment themes into clear and actionable portfolio guidance for advisors and clients. The role will also support investment marketing, compliance-related processes, and operational needs of the CIO Office.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing thematic and tactical asset allocation views across traditional and alternative asset classes.
  • Translate macroeconomic research, market insights, and investment themes into practical portfolio positioning recommendations for advisors and clients.
  • Evaluate investment strategies, managers, mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment solutions to support portfolio implementation decisions.
  • Help connect CIO Office research to advisor-facing portfolio guidance, including clear recommendations around how investment views may be expressed in client portfolios.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and investment materials that communicate market views and portfolio recommendations in a clear, logical, and actionable manner.
  • Support advisor and client engagement by helping explain investment views, portfolio positioning, and implementation considerations.
  • Assist with investment marketing, compliance-related documentation, general operations, and cross-functional priorities within the CIO Office.
  • Provide support for recurring CIO Office deliverables, including monthly reports, firmwide presentations, and strategic projects for senior investment leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, family offices, capital markets, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, asset allocation, investment vehicles, and portfolio construction concepts.
  • Demonstrated interest in macroeconomics, investment strategy, financial markets, and portfolio implementation.
  • Ability to synthesize research, data, and market commentary into practical investment conclusions and recommendations.
  • Experience preparing presentations, investment materials, reports, or advisor/client-facing content.
  • BS/BA degree required; progress toward CFA designation is a plus.
  • Series 7/63 preferred or willingness to obtain.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex investment concepts clearly and intuitively.

Compensation Range

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
