Location: New York

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $175K and $200K/year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Department Overview:

As a member of the Technology Investment Banking team, you will be working with the team's senior bankers on deal execution, client coverage and new business development. This role combines deep technology sector expertise with requisite investment banking skillsets including strong team building, financial analysis and process management capabilities. As an Associate, specific responsibilities of your role will include:

Role Description:
  • A combination of execution and client coverage including; valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal financing and process management
  • Business and industry research and analysis
  • Preparation of transaction marketing materials and high-quality client deliverables
  • Development, training, and mentoring of junior bankers assigned to projects


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
  • Outstanding academic qualifications: MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required
  • A minimum of 3 years of total investment banking experience
  • Demonstrated track record within the Technology sector is a requirement for this role; specific Software experience is strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • SIE, Series 63 and 79
