Job Summary:

As the Analyst & Associate (A&A) Assistant Manager, you will report to the GIB A&A Leader and work closely with Early Career Managers (ECMs) in Investment Banking (IB) Coverage to ensure the effective management, development, and well-being of A&As. You will help drive initiatives to manage A&A workload, streamline staffing processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational and strategic needs of the A&A population, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with work-life policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with ECMs and Staffers to support the day-to-day management of A&As, assisting with workload tracking, resource allocation
• Leverage reporting tools to monitor A&A hours and flag potential issues to Early Career Managers, supporting efforts to support well-being
• Assist in organizing year-end A&A evaluation process, including gathering and collating performance feedback and preparing materials for evaluation round tables and performance discussions
• Ensure smooth logistics across hiring initiatives, from spearheading recruitment activities to managing the hiring process, onboarding, and offboarding
• Operate as a knowledge center and liaison across employee assistance topics, including immigration support, benefits, and other ad hoc employee topics
• Support HR process adherence and issue resolution by coordinating on disciplinary matters in partnership with HR and Compliance
• Organize A&A team meetings, banker teach-ins, and other topics that maximize team cohesiveness and efficiency
• Provide general administrative and operational support, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
