ResponsibilitiesGlobal Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines wholesale coverage with world-class product financing and advisory expertise within one team. We currently have open roles within our following investment banking divisions.Investment Banking Division (IBD)Advisory & Financing Group (AFG) Coverage (COV) Credit & Structured Finance (CSF) Natural Resources & Infrastructure (NAT) Syndication (SYN) We provide our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, along with structured financing and commodities, forex, and interest rate hedging. In addition to the usual responsibilities expected of an Analyst, the successful candidate will be expected to:• Prepare financial analyses and models - specifically company valuations• Prepare company profiles, and more detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies and acquisition opportunities• Research potential buyers / investors / targets / opportunities• Contribute to, and help develop ideas for, potential transactions• Be proactively involved in every phase of the deal process• Perform and present ad hoc research to support generation of new business opportunities• Coordinating with internal functions to obtain all required approvals for the execution of transactions• Understand product and market dynamics through comparables and markets analysis• Credit analysis and preparation of credit applications• Keep up with industry trendsProfile requiredREQUIRED: • Strong analytical skills• Knowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting concepts• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task• SIE, Series 7/79 and Series 63 certifications. If not already obtained, must complete within five months of hireTECHNICAL SKILLS: • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordPRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:• Less than 1 year of Investment Banking experience including participation in formal summer analyst programsEDUCATION:• Bachelors Degree from a top-tier university (preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance)COMPENSATION:Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
