Who we are looking forWe are looking for a SQA Automation and Reconciliation's Team. This role requires a hands-on 'quality Assurance' leader responsible for owning the Investment Accounting (IA) automation strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across the suite of applications that IA supports. In parallel this role manages the Automation and Recon team's daily and long-term planning for all aspects of the team's support model.
That model covers all automation activities in support of all SQA functional testing across the set of STT IA applications (RKS Core, RKS Web-UI, and the suite of IA-EE applications). In addition to supporting daily tasks such as automating manual test plans from the IA Agile rooms or other AI and automation tasks, the team also supports daily / weekly automated reconciliations of the applications current code(s) in the Development and UAT test environments. They support running, analyzing and distributing the results to the relevant IA Development and testing teams.
What you will be responsible forAs a Vice President in the role of the SQA Automation and Reconciliation Team manager, you will:
- Support all management responsibilities required to support the team's core role.
- Maintain an elevated level of reconciliation support across all IA applications.
- Full Recon test run multiple times per week and completed within the confines of 1 workday.
- Increase model's capabilities, required functional buildout, maintain vulnerability compliance.

- Experience with Investment Manager's middle office applications and their operating models designed to support Global Investment Managers and other instructional investors.
- Experience in using and supporting complex automation models underpinned by current market and in house-built application used to run daily reconciliation, API and other functional testing of IA's C++ and Java applications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing large-scale, multi-location projects and diverse team structures.
Education & Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred), and SQL for data validation.
- Experience using Microsoft GitHub Copilot to support automation development and productivity.
- Practical experience applying AI tools to improve automation efficiency and code quality.
Additional requirements- Prior experience working on Record Keeping platforms (RKS or similar investment accounting systems) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to Azure or cloud-based testing environments and experience supporting production issues impacting accounting data are desirable.
Work Requirement- Onsite work model as per State Street policy (onsite and remote combination).
- Shift timings aligned to project needs, including coordination with offshore teams & release cycles
Salary Range:$115,000 - $205,000 Annual
