The Role & Your ImpactIn this role, you will combine leadership, operational expertise, and collaboration to drive inventory accuracy and material availability. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse control processes and supporting production requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability
- Leading and supporting Material Handlers across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless inventory control operations
- Driving inventory cycle counting activities in collaboration with Finance
- Supervising inventory transactions, audits, and warehouse control processes
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory management practices
What You'll Need to Be SuccessfulTo succeed in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in inventory control and leadership within a warehouse or manufacturing environment:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems and principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles (including straight truck)
- Forklift experience

Ways of Working / Working Conditions- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Work setup: On-site at the Wausau, WI plant
- Flexibility: Occasional weekend calls may be required due to production support
- Operational support: May fill in as a Material Handler (
- Environment: Manufacturing/warehouse setting with potential exposure to typical industrial conditions
Compensation & Benefits- Base salary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience
