Full Job Description
Position Overview:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with operational procedures related to activities such as verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory. This position requires a strong focus on high-volume eCommerce fulfillment, where accuracy and speed are critical. The Inventory Manager will ensure adherence to the organization's policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws, including handling hazardous materials (hazmat) where applicable.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift
Travel Specifics: Approximately 30% travel
Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary ranging from $77,000 to $100,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safe environment for employees and customer products, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, including hazmat handling procedures.
  • Advise management on the appropriate resolution of operational issues in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
  • Foster a positive teamwork environment by actively listening and communicating with associates in a fast-paced setting.
  • Focuses on inventory accuracy in a high-volume context.
  • Maintain a tour-ready facility, ensuring it is well-organized to meet the demands of eCommerce fulfillment
  • Monitor and ensure daily compliance with safety procedures, including hazmat protocols.
  • Support coordination of floor space utilization and workflow optimization to handle large volumes of inventory.
  • Assist in coordinating OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) claims in a timely manner.
  • Investigate accidents and prepares reports.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with forklift, reach, and order-selector
  • Inventory Control experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of working knowledge in Workforce Management Systems and RF systems
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including proficiency in performing calculations involving rates, ratios, percentages, basic arithmetic, and interpreting bar graphs for effective problem-solving
  • Oversee daily inventory control processes, including stock level management, cycle counts, and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce fulfillment processes and ability to adapt inventory management practices to high-volume environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hazmat experience
  • Possess a valid passport for international travel
  • Ability to lead and train inventory control team on best practices and systems usage
  • Experience with barcode scanning, RFID technology, and advanced inventory management software
  • Ability to develop and execute performance metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory control processes
  • Start-up experience
