Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies: Loveland, CO

Department: MCR Intervent Rad

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.84 - $54.38 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Full-time 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts) with a rotating 4-day weekend off and mandatory stroke call coverage

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:
Leads interventional team members by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities. Assists in interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and/or
vascular conditions in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization; and independent of supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides monitoring, coaching and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management.
  • Serves as a positive role model by working with team members to promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
  • Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues. Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED or graduate of a certificate, license or degree granting program, or post-secondary educational program in a health science or Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program.
  • Certified in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
