Responsibilities

  • Perform general body interventions from neck down
  • Conduct venous interventions
  • Perform biopsies and drain placements
  • Establish ports and vascular access
  • Occasional involvement in peripheral vascular procedures
  • Opportunity to engage in interventional oncology if desired
  • Work collaboratively in a team with 24/7 APP coverage for light IR procedures

Access Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice serving Central Louisiana for more than 45 years, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established Interventional Radiology practice with a diverse case mix, excellent earning potential, and no neurointerventional or stroke responsibilities. Rapides Regional Medical Center is a busy Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hospital, providing a stable referral base and a collaborative environment for high-quality patient care.
