SummaryDirectly reporting to the Group President, the International Business Analyst will play a critical role in shaping and executing Mattr's global strategic direction. You will drive strategic initiatives, deliver data-driven insights, and support high-impact decisions that advance business growth, operational performance, and transformation efforts.

Responsibilities- Support the development, execution, and tracking of strategic initiatives aligned to corporate objectives.
- Prepare business plans, quarterly updates, and board-level reporting materials for executive leadership.
- Analyze data, market trends, and internal processes to identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and growth.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and models.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and market indicators, reporting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct competitor intelligence and monitor industry trends, major projects, and market developments.
- Support market sizing activities including TAM, SAM, and market share analysis across product portfolios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute strategic initiatives.
- Provide project management support for strategic and transformation initiatives.
- Support M&A activities including maintaining the deal funnel, conducting analysis, and supporting transaction execution.
- Assist with due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution to achieve targeted synergies.
- Maintain databases tracking M&A activity, financing trends, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering combined with an MBA or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience in strategy, analytics, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted business partner across functions
- Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex challenges
- Proven experience improving processes and systems with measurable outcomes
- Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and valuations
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and performance management frameworks
- Strong project management experience delivering complex analytical initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
CompensationRange: CAD $100,000 - $135,000
The provided range represents the anticipated base salary and target incentive for this position. The final total compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
