Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineer (Municipal & Land Development), you'll play a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable communities across
Kamloops and the Southern Interior of British Columbia.
From planning and designing critical municipal infrastructure to supporting growing communities, this role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, leadership, and local insight to projects that truly matter - today and for generations to come.
Your Impact- Design and deliver civil engineering solutions for municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure projects.
- Lead preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure including watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, pump stations, and associated civil works.
- Manage projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and risk objectives are achieved.
- Provide construction services including field reviews, progress reporting, and contract administration.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents that clearly communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and project partners throughout the Southern Interior.
- Conduct field reviews at critical milestones
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and/or land development projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, or eligible for registration.
- Proven experience delivering civil design projects through construction, including contract administration.
- Strong working knowledge of municipal servicing standards and infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency with civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to project leadership and client relationships.

$89,800 - $118,900MB & ON:
$81,900 - $112,800NB, NL, NS, PE & QC:
$81,100 - $107,700Disclosure:The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
