Responsibilities:
- Leading the execution of electrical engineering activities on assigned projects or defined project scopes.
- Supporting project planning and delivery, including participation in relevant meetings, preparation of progress reports, and compliance with required checking and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensuring project scope is clearly defined and that changes are managed in accordance with project change management processes.
- Providing technical input and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, including:
- Preparation and review of electrical equipment and materials requisitions
- Technical bid evaluations
- Review of vendor documentation and purchase orders
- Coordinating electrical engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams (process, instrumentation, mechanical, piping, automation) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies between Worley and client standards and requirements.
- Supporting the development and technical review of electrical engineering deliverables.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to intermediate and junior engineers and designers as required.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Proactively identifying technical issues and risks, developing appropriate solutions, and escalating when needed.
Qualifications:- Accredited Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA, or eligibility to obtain registration.
- Solid experience in electrical engineering roles on multidisciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and interpret electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation.

- Familiarity and knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code ( NEC- American equivalent od CEC is ok as well)
- Design of MV and LV MCC's
- Design of MV and LV power system and network
- Design of cable trays
- Design of lighting systems
- Grounding system design
- Knowledge of North American brands ( major players in the market)
- E-house / E-room Layout design
- Electrical Heat tracing system
- PLC+ DCS design
- Control panel and control circuit design
- Knowledge and expertise in electrical deliverables such as ( not limited to): SLD, 3 Line ,motor and control schematics, layouts, MTO, lighting, Installation details, MCC and Switchgear layout/ elevation, heat tracing , schedules, load list, equipment list,
- ETAP experience ( ETAP is an electrical system, study software which will generate load flow, short circuit, arc flash, coordination motor starting , etc. reports and results)
For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $125,970 to $170,430.
