Our Geotechnical Team is growing, and we are looking for a
Geotechnical Engineer to work at our Denver, US location. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients.
About the role: - Conduct geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure.
- Participate in geotechnical site investigation/laboratory testing programs and results interpretation
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones.
- Manage the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the USA and internationally to support project activities.
About you - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- From 5-10 years of relevant experience in engineering
- A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Familiarity with international tailings management standards.
- Proven experience in the design of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and related mine infrastructure.
- Expertise in dam stability analysis, water management, and civil design principles.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, GeoStudio (or similar software),and advanced modelling tools such as PLAXIS (or similar)

Salary range: $93,000 - $133,000
Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
