Job Description:

Participates in an on-call rotation and supports the team's effort to provide 24×7 PACS support to radiology and cardiology imaging departments. Supports primary and secondary facilities during each shift and when on-call, with occasional travel. Collaborates with various departments to streamline documentation workflows and supports the implementation of best practices in imaging documentation. Develops and maintains a robust knowledge of the product initiatives and categories supported, ensuring data integrity and effective communication of findings. Other duties as assigned. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves intermediate PACS incidents and requests via the service ticketing system for imaging-related software applications and hardware equipment while adhering to established service level agreements and ticket processing guidelines. Serves as an Information Technology resource between the imaging clinical staff, radiologists, cardiologists, and third-party vendors, providing prompt technical support and resolution for all enterprise imaging systems and components. Ensures the enterprise PACS system operates efficiently by engaging with appropriate information technology resources, third-party vendors, and clinical staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with PACS diagnostic stations, scanners, and modality and imaging network connectivity. Performs routine system and preventive maintenance, testing, and installations on PACS applications and hardware equipment to support the daily operation of imaging departments. Participates in the training and mentorship of new imaging administrators, radiologists, and cardiologists regarding their daily operational activities and workflow. Participates in and owns imaging project activities, including logging time in the project application, providing guidance on imaging needs and requirements, following up on project deliverables, and communicating project details to key stakeholders. Adheres to information technology service management policies and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework for planning, operating, and delivering information technology services to customers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of AGFA/Siemens/GE/Hologic/Nuance/3D Imaging Solutions [Required]
• Intermediate level of knowledge & understanding in a clinical informatics environment [Required]
• Knowledge in supporting an entire PACS System and all related components [Required]
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work courteously and effectively with all levels of customers including team members, leadership, physicians, clinical staff, and vendors [Required]
• Strong analytical, organizational, technical, & project management skills [Required]
• Ability to prioritize / multitask and complete several projects / initiatives within established deadlines in the order of greatest importance with little supervision [Required]
