Your missionYou will play an important role in a dynamic and passionate team, collaborating on a variety of projects of all sizes and scopes in the environment, renewable energies, hydroelectricity, transportation, materials, buildings and climate change markets. Your main responsibilities - Design, programming and commissioning of industrial control and HMI systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/RTU).
- Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, Emerson DeltaV, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric industrial control systems would be considered an asset.
- Experience with Wonderware InTouch/System Platform, Ignition, Factory Talk View HMI/SCADA systems would be considered an asset.
- Understanding and development of engineering deliverables: P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control System Architectures, Control Narratives, Panel Drawings, I/O Drawings, etc.
- Software and hardware acceptance testing.
- Client and vendor communication and interface.
- Experience with loop testing, commissioning and start-up support would be considered an asset.
- Mentoring of Junior resources
What makes you unique- Engineering degree, Technologist diploma or Trades certificate - equivalent level of field experience may be considered
- 5+ years of automation/controls related experience
- Strong commitment and demonstrated safety performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness/ability to travel and prepared to do site work as required
- Electrical and/or Instrumentation experience an asset
