As part of our team,you'llserve as an Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technicalexpertiseto provide strategic assessments ofnew technologiesin support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs,assistingwith the management of current programs, andfacilitatingcommercialization of successfully developed technologies.

You'llserve asanIntergovernmental Affairs Specialistaspart of an exciting team to provide high-level operational and executive support in a demanding, fast-paced environment.Above all, youhave a deep commitment towork collaboratively tocreate new partnerships with other agencies within the federal governmentto advance client priorities.You willhelp clients tocommunicate requirements, standardize processes, anddetermineviablesolutions.You will provide support to senior leaders, serve as apoint of contact forthe officeand other agency offices, manageincoming requirements,clearly communicate tasks, and track metrics. You will be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging requests and special projects. Attention to detail, flexibility,strong communicationskills, understanding of the international mission, and problem solving will enableour client’s success.This position is a Hybrid role with Booz Allen. Candidate is expected to work on-site at a Booz Allen or Client Facility 20-50% of your time, as needed.

WhatYou’llWork On:

  • Build andmaintainrelationships with points of contact

  • Collaborate with ARPA-H program managers and contacts to support program development and ongoing program activities

  • Collaborate with ARPA-H's Office of Commercialization (OC) to ensure PMs are supported with regulatory consultants

  • Assist IGA Specialists with identification of key programs and key points of contact within USG agencies and programs in relation to ARPA-H programs and mission

  • Capture data into Intergovernmental tracking system; create andmaintaina dashboard interagency engagements and programs

  • Draft reports on ARPA-H engagement or on potential opportunities asrequired

  • Create presentations tailored to agency and divisions, support outreach and scheduling with agency contacts asrequired

You Have:

  • 3+ yearsof experience supporting theFDA

  • Experience with contracts research and management tracking tools

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to be detailed, diplomatic, and flexible to juggle various projects at once

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in ARPA, such as DARPA, ARPA-E, or BARDA

  • Experience engaging a broad range of stakeholders, including government officialsand seniorpartners

  • Ability to be well-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines

  • Possession of excellent communicationskills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
