Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Intelligence Operations Planners Subject Matter Expert / Planner with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

We are seeking highly experienced Intelligence Operations (Intel Ops) Planners to serve as the critical link between intelligence collection, analysis, and intelligence overwatch operations, actions and initiatives (OAIs). In this role, you will be responsible for synchronizing intelligence support to complex, multi-domain plans and OAIs.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and the intelligence cycle. You will not just research intelligence, but actively plan how intelligence is collected, analyzed to support and feed into the planning and assessment cycles and provided options for strategic decision-making against adversaries and competitors.
Key Responsibilities:J2/J35/J5 Integration:- Serve as intelligence representative to planning teams (OPTs) and working groups. Ensure that intelligence requirements are seamlessly integrated into plans and OAIs.
Intelligence Architecture Planning:- Anticipate intelligence gaps and work with the Defense Intelligence Enterprise to develop comprehensive analytical and collection plans.
Strategic Advising: - Brief senior government personnel, interagency partners, on intelligence support, RFI fulfillment and, threats and hazards to roadmaps, plans and programs of institutional value.
Basic Qualifications:Clearance: - Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. After hiring, must be assessed for SAPs access.
Experience: - 10-15+ years of experience in military intelligence and intelligence operations.
Process Expertise:- Familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).
Tasking Knowledge: Strong operational understanding of national, theater, and tactical-level collection and analytical tasking procedures.
Education:- Master's Degree desired, bachelor's degree acceptable in National Security, Intelligence Studies, Strategic Studies, or a related field (or equivalent extensive military experience).
Highly Desired Qualifications:Formal Planner Training: - Graduation from a recognized DoD planning course such as the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), or specialized J2 planner courses.
Great Power Competition Expertise: - Extensive background in intelligence planning directed against adversaries and competitors
Information Operations Cross-Training:- Previous experience integrating intelligence specifically to drive Information Operations (IO)
Interagency/Joint Task Force Experience:
- Proven ability to coordinate intelligence efforts across DoD, IC, and allied coalition networks.
