Full Job Description
Intel Oversight/Compliance SME SUMMARY: The Intel Oversight/ Compliance SME position will provide subject matter experience to the Air Force Service Cryptologic Component (AF SCC) in the development, formulation, coordination and representation of cryptologic Intelligence Oversight (IO) and compliance policy, guidance, and implementation to the U.S. Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and national mission partners (NMPs); while reporting directly to the WinTec Program Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Assists Air Force Cryptologic Policy and Compliance Program Managers in overseeing all aspects of oversight and compliance of Air Force cryptologic operations. • Participates in the oversight of access of sensitive databases required by pertinent USAF analysts to conduct cryptologic operations in support of customer requirements. • Supports the development and management of cryptologic IO and compliance policy and processes to support the entire USAF cryptologic ISR effort, to include reviewing cryptologic mission authorization documentation. • Ensures AF SCC cryptologic operations meet Federal, Intelligence Community, and DoD IO oversight and compliance directives. • Represents the AF SCC in meetings with representatives from the NMP, AF operational organizations (Wings, Centers, etc.) and mission representatives, to ensure USAF cryptologic interests are represented and coordinated. • Prepares high-level briefings, policy papers, and associated compilation tasks concerning complex and diversified. • Demonstrates the following: • Mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the Intel Oversight / Compliance SME position. • Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. • Collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution. • Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence. • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives. QUALIFICATIONS: • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph • 6+ years' experience with Air Force cryptologic Intelligence Oversight (IO) and/or cryptologic policy • Required Experience: 6+ years of experience related to the primary responsibilities outlined above with at least a portion of the ACC ISR experience within the last 2 years. • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience OR Associates Degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. PREFERRED SKILLS: • At least 10 years' experience working with the national intelligence community • Military background or familiarity with military command and control structures. • Possess a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, federal, state, and local agencies. • Demonstrate time management, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail. • Ability to efficiently react to shifting program requirements and work in a team environment. • Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
