Job Description:Job SummaryThis role supports the integration, testing, and verification of a Wideband SATCOM Trend Analysis and Anomaly Resolution Subsystem within a continuous integration environment. The position focuses on validating system requirements, identifying and resolving system-level defects, and supporting formal test events to ensure reliable and mission-ready system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated software unit and system-level tests in an integrated environment
- Define verification approaches for system requirements and isolate software and system-level defects
- Conduct and participate in formal test events to validate system capabilities
- Verify functionality of new software releases and document test results
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues across interdependent components
- Provide design feedback and implement corrective actions
- Train users on Wideband control applications to support operational readiness
- Support multiple test, demonstration, and evaluation events
Required Qualifications- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification
- Engineer Level 3:
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or
- 4+ years of relevant experience with a Masters degree
- Engineer Level 4:
- 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or
- 9+ years of relevant experience with a Masters degree
- Direct experience with Wideband SATCOM subsystems, including CNPS, GSCCE, WRMS, WSTARS, and WSOMS databases
- Hands-on experience testing software releases and documenting outcomes
- Proven ability to isolate and resolve system-level defects
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of Wideband SATCOM command and control (C2) systems
- Experience with SATCOM systems, products, and interfaces
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience with automated UI and API testing frameworks
- Experience developing Ansible playbooks for automated testing and deployment
- Experience configuring Kubernetes environments for containerized applications
- Experience with test planning, test case and procedure development, execution, and reporting
- Familiarity with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration, and data-driven or automated testing methods
