Responsibilities

  • Manage the building and maintenance of technical interfaces between Artemis EHR and external clinical systems

  • Design and implement HL7 v2 / FHIR interfaces using Mirth Connect or similar tools
  • Configure Blood Analyzer interfaces for devices, setting up serial numbers and network configurations
  • Develop USS/ultrasound and HSG system interfaces based on specific clinic devices
  • Integrate with external lab partners by coordinating connectivity setups
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of interfaces prior to go-live and assist in stabilization

Full Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on technical builder who designs, builds, and maintains the interfaces connecting Artemis to labs, medical devices, and external clinical systems. You will pick up clean specifications from the Clinical Implementation Analyst and own the entire lifecycle from interface build through go-live testing and post-launch stabilization. Req.#[redacted] Responsibilities Core Interface Management: Build and maintain all technical interfaces between the Artemis EHR and external clinical systems Data Integrity & Reliability: Ensure data integrity, message reliability, and interface continuity across all onboarded clinic locations Engine Implementation: Design and implement HL7 v2 / FHIR interfaces via Mirth Connect (or equivalent integration engine) Device Configuration: Configure Blood Analyzer interfaces (HL7/ASTM/LIS) for devices such as Roche analyzers - including serial numbers, network configurations, and DICOM settings Imaging & Diagnostic Setup: Build USS/ultrasound (DICOM) and HSG system interfaces per clinic device inventory Lab Partner Integration: Integrate external lab partners (LabCorp, Quest, Natera, Fulgent) by coordinating with lab IT for connection setup and testing Testing & Go-Live: Conduct end-to-end interface testing, message validation, and go-live sign-offs per clinic Stabilization & Triage: Monitor live interfaces during stabilization; triage and resolve post-launch issues Requirements Hands-on Mirth Connect experience (or equivalent: Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Azure FHIR) Proficiency with HL7 v2.x message types (ORM, ORU, ADT, SIU) and FHIR R4 Medical device integration expertise: LIS/ASTM, DICOM, and lab analyzer connectivity Proven multi-site interface deployment experience in a healthcare setting Scripting ability (JavaScript / Python/Java) for custom Mirth Connect transformers Nice to have Familiarity with fertility / reproductive medicine EHR platforms (eIVF, Artemis, or similar) Cloud-based integration experience: Azure Health Data Services, FHIR APIs
