FTS has an opportunity for an Integration Engineer in Chantilly, VA.
The Integration Engineer will serve as the primary liaison for sensor integration activities, working with government, military, and industry stakeholders to coordinate onboarding efforts, assess operational compatibility, and guide organizations through the integration process.
Responsibilities- Manage stakeholder engagement from initial coordination through operational integration while ensuring effective communication throughout the lifecycle
- Support systems engineering and integration activities by verifying and validating sensor functionality, message compliance, and interoperability through system testing and analysis
- Contribute to all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), supporting requirements development, systems integration, testing, implementation, and fielding of mission capabilities
- Translate operational needs into technical requirements, support Agile development activities, track capability delivery, maintain integration documentation, coordinate recurring technical meetings, maintain public-facing program information, and prepare executive-level briefings for senior government and military leadership
Required Skills/Qualifications- TS/SCI with polygraph
- BS/BA degree
- 5+ years' relevant experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Experience performing Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) functions supporting government program offices
- Knowledge of one or more intelligence disciplines (e.g., GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, or related mission areas)
- Strong understanding of IC and DoW organizations, acquisition processes, and mission operations
- Experience coordinating technical integration efforts across multiple government agencies and mission partners
- Experience developing, managing, and tracing system and operational requirements
- Experience planning, coordinating, tracking, and delivering capabilities to operational systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation, executive briefings, and status reports
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage senior government civilians, military leaders, and technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and operate in a fast-paced mission environment
Desired Skills/Qualifications- BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools
- Knowledge of IEEE, INCOSE, and similar Standards, with understanding of the development for IDDs, ICD's for enabling cooperative operations
- Knowledge of Network Connectivity to include protocols and infrastructure
- Minimal travel requirements
Expected Salary Range: $115,000 - $142,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by qualifications, job-related criteria, experience, internal equity and market considerations.
