We are seeking early career professionals for this role that sits within Ericsson's Core Network team, part of the Cloud Competence practice - a technically strong, collaborative group of approximately 90 professionals delivering cloud and network solutions across North America's telecommunications programs. The team supports a broad portfolio of Tier 1 customers across the United States and Canada, working at the forefront of 5G Core deployment, cloud-native infrastructure, and network modernization. What You Will Do
• Deploy Ericsson and third-party cloud platforms, onboard applications including 5G Core workloads, and execute Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities on deployed sites
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot infrastructure components including Juniper and Extreme switches and routers, and validate hardware against solution design specifications
• Develop repeatable automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Git/Gerrit-based workflows for lab and production deployments
• Maintain meticulous documentation of test results, root cause analyses, and deployment procedures
• Serve as a trusted technical partner to customers, supporting knowledge transfer and long-term confidence in deployed solutions
• Collaborate across offshore delivery teams, Product R&D, and client stakeholders to drive delivery quality and operational efficiency
The Skills You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of IT industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in cloud integration roles spanning Private and/or Public Cloud environments
• Hands-on expertise in Linux, virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker, CNIs (Calico/Multus), Heat templates, Ansible, and Helm Charts; strong YAML, shell, and Python scripting skills
• Solid knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, Calico, MetalLB, load balancer configurations, NFV concepts, and cloud storage backends including Ceph, Cinder, Manila, iSCSI, and ZFS
• Working knowledge of HTTP(S), TCP/IP, and REST APIs
• Foundational understanding of cloud-native security principles, open-source tooling, and data center design including CLOS topology
• Strong documentation discipline and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of AI agents and frameworks is a plus

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
