Position Overview

This role can be remote or based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Clara, CA; or Ashburn, VA.

This role owns the global category strategy for integrated and prefabricated infrastructure products, including skids, enclosures, modular systems, and prefabricated data center modules. These products integrate mechanical, electrical, and controls systems into factory-built assemblies. The role drives total cost of ownership, quality, and schedule reliability through supplier strategy and early engagement.

The Director partners closely with Product, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to align sourcing strategies with product architecture, module design, and global deployment standards. This role also manages supplier performance, factory capacity, and integration risks while supporting standardization, scalability, and continuous product improvement across regions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and execute global category strategy for modular and integrated products across regions
  • Define make/buy strategies and integrator models for skids, enclosures, and prefab modules
  • Lead sourcing, RFx, supplier evaluations, and award decisions for integrated products
  • Create contracting frameworks including master supply agreements, configuration-based pricing, NRE, and change order structures
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on module architecture, ICDs, BOM control, and product standards
  • Ensure quality and compliance through factory controls, certifications, and testing requirements (FAT/SAT)
  • Manage supplier capacity, build schedules, and long-lead component risks
  • Lead supplier performance management across delivery, quality, safety, and field performance
  • Drive cost optimization through standardization, logistics, and lifecycle improvements
  • Feed supplier performance and field data into product and engineering teams for continuous improvement
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing or category management for engineered or modular products
  • Experience procuring integrated assemblies such as skids, modules, or enclosures
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality planning, and FAT/SAT testing
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations teams
  • Experience with complex contracting structures including NRE, change orders, and warranties
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details
  • Salary Range: $200,000-$250,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
