POSITION SUMMARY

Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy We are looking for an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler in Houston, TX. This self-motivated team member will be responsible for co-developing, maintaining, and managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all facets of the program(s), ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast-paced agile environment. The IMS serves as the primary tool for coordinating and tracking program milestones, product deliverables, and dependencies.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and product leaders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Understands the engineering development lifecycle and works with engineers to navigate the how from concept to delivery.
  • Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks to program timelines.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience in program scheduling, project management, or related roles, with a strong focus on integrated master scheduling (IMS).
  • Experience in managing very large, complex programs or projects with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
  • Experienced working in an agile environment and how that translates to effective scheduling. 
  • Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, or similar tools.
  • Advanced reporting experience, with the ability to create custom reports, dashboards (Power BI), and schedule analysis tools.

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements

  • This position may require access to export controlled technical data or technology subject to NASA regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In accordance with U.S. export control laws, final candidates may be required to undergo additional export control screening to determine eligibility for access. Meeting these requirements is a condition of employment.
  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones
