Job Description:- Manage the integrated logistics activities supporting the installation and fielding of systems. Assists projects to comply with acquisition logistics management and life cycle support requirements detailed in DOD/CSS Policy 10-4, "Deployment Management Process".
The Level 3 Acquisition Logistics Support Manager shall possess the following capabilities:- Coordinate and perform property accountability functions
- Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred
- Perform logistics management activities specifically as they relate to the shipping of the vast amount of equipment FAD sends to its worldwide Partners
- Track shipments worldwide and interface with sites to establish Arrival On Site (AOS) notification
- Working knowledge of DD Form1149 process for agency cargo shipping services and agency stock system
- Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property
- Coordinate all aspects of shipments to partner locations worldwide
- Prepare inventory for shipping, loading on pallets, attaching green tags, creating DD Form 1149 documentation, and shrink-wrapping of pallets
- Working knowledge of laboratory environments with electrical systems, internal and external telephone communications, UPS, ventilation, safety, delivery of equipment, and laboratory management and utilization
Qualifications:- Five (5) years' experience in DoD Integrated Logistics Support to include large DOD or industry technical contracts involving multiple activities and multiple vendors, working knowledge of DD Form 1149 based process for Agency Cargo Shipping Services and Agency Stock System, ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, material handling, and property accountability, working with electrical systems, internal and external telephone communications, UPS, ventilation, safety, delivery of equipment, and laboratory management and utilization is required.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate PolygraphPay Range: 110,000 - 155,000
