Title:

Integrated Fires Directorate Liaison Officer - Hawaii

Job Summary

KBR is seeking an Integrated Fires Directorate (IF-D) Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires Liaison Officer (LNO) for a position located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Hawaii. The LNO serves as the primary PAE Fires focal point and coordinator with United States Pacific Command (USPACOM), U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (94th AAMDC). The LNO’s primary responsibility is to support PAE Fires key initiatives in the Indo-Pacific region while coordinating closely with the 94th AAMDC and the USARPAC Theater Fires Element (TFE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in various Operational Planning Team (OPT) meetings, cross organizational discussions, planning conferences, senior leader updates, and tabletop exercises
  • Support mission and task analysis to integrate AMD systems into operational and concept plans, including those for USPACOM, 94th AAMDC, and coalition commands
  • Coordinate with PAE Fires program offices, USPACOM, partner organizations, and international partners regarding information, technology requests, system demonstrations, transportation, integration, and employment of Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems
  • Collaborate with Army Futures Command, Cross Functional Teams, Centers of Excellence, Joint Services, academia, and industry to align solutions with Warfighter needs
  • Coordinate with science and technology experts to support concept development and capability requirements
  • Provide monthly written updates and prepare written products including reports, information papers, and executive summaries
  • Support after-duty hours secure video teleconferences as required
  • Travel within the Theater area of responsibility up to 25%

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with AMD weapon systems, including operational employment and integrated AMD defense design planning
  • Familiarity with command-and-control integration across USPACOM and partner-nation air defense organizations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and working in multi-organizational teams
  • Ability to interpret technical data, develop solutions, and operate in a dynamic, multi-role environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships across teams, leadership, and customers.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Active Secret clearance required

Desired Qualifications

  • 20+ years of AMD experience
  • 5 + years of recent experience (civilian or uniformed) within USPACOM, including knowledge of organizational structure, culture, and staff processes
  • Highly desired former field-grade officer experience in Field Artillery (13A), Air Defense Artillery (14A/140A/140K), or Space Operations (FA40)
  • Technical knowledge of systems managed under PAE Fires
  • Operational experience with Army programs of record and test systems
  • Knowledge of the Department of War acquisition process
  • Understanding of systems engineering, integration, and performance assessment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred

Basic Compensation:

  • $100,000- 185,000k

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
