LifeStance Health is hiring two (2) full-time licensed therapists (social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists) with excellent communication skills and clinical acumen to join our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team!

This position is virtually embedded in an obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) clinic, and you will serve as a core member of the Collaborative Care Team. As a member of this team, you will collaborate closely with OB/GYN clinicians, medical staff, our psychiatric consultant, and other behavioral health professionals at LifeStance Health to deliver comprehensive care that integrates mental and physical health.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions, offering brief therapy and support that aligns with patients' overall healthcare goals. We are looking for clinicians who thrive in dynamic environments and demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of both patients and OB/GYNs. If you are passionate about women's mental health, delivering person-centered care, enjoy variety in your daily work, and are committed to improving patient outcomes through team-based care, this position is ideal for you.

Is this you?

  • Licensed therapist (i.e., social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health clinician, licensed professional counselor) skilled in the delivery of evidence-based interventions. License to practice in Florida.
  • Comfort with technology is essential, as this job necessitates navigating an electronic health record as well as a registry platform to track symptom improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to enable clear, concise, and effective interactions with patients, team members, and other stakeholders. A commitment to patient-centered care is essential, with a focus on working collaboratively with patients to set goals and develop care plans that reflect their preferences and needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with and enjoy working on multidisciplinary care teams, including OB/GYNs, midwives, nurses, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in communicating behavioral health principles to non-behavioral health professionals to facilitate collaborative treatment planning and care coordination.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the OB/GYN setting including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicate these findings efficiently to other members of the care team. In collaboration with the patient and care team, candidates should be skilled in developing and implementing treatment plans that address the needs of the patient. Candidates must also be able to provide culturally responsive care, respecting and valuing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of patients.

What we offer:

  • This is an opportunity to be on the cutting edge of healthcare delivery, unite physical and mental health, and facilitate change across an entire healthcare system. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population and collaborate with professionals across the health system.

In addition, we offer:
  • Comprehensive clinical training in the Collaborative Care Model and women's mental health as well as ongoing clinical consultation and mentorship
  • Paid time off
  • Dynamic work environment
  • Strong work-life balance
  • Above average compensation
  • Dedicated non-clinical support staff to assist with administrative duties
  • Day shift, no call
  • Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and HSA plans
  • 401K Plan with generous employer contribution
  • Telehealth training and support
