Cozen O'Connor seeks an associate with 4 years of meaningful defense litigation experience to join the firm's Charlotte office. The ideal candidate will have experience defending bodily injury, property damage, and wrongful death claims, including matters involving premises liability, transportation, products liability, insurance coverage, construction defect, and other third-party liability disputes. Candidates should have hands-on litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing written discovery, writing reports to clients, taking and defending depositions, appearing and making arguments in court, participating in mediations, and preparing and assisting on cases for trial. Strong research and writing skills and excellent academic credentials are required. NC bar required, SC bar is a plus.
