Executive Job Description: Insurance Defense Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and representation in insurance defense cases.

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel and representation in insurance defense cases, with a focus on general liability and other insurance-related matters
• Conduct thorough investigations of claims, gather evidence, and develop effective defense strategies
• Represent clients in court, negotiations, and other legal proceedings
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
• Stay up-to-date on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (with ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications)
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with insurance defense cases, including general liability and other insurance-related matters
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
• Strong trial and negotiation skills
