Full Job Description
Position Summary

Responsible for supervising Instrument and Controls maintenance work crews. Responsible for interfacing and coordinating with the station work groups and processes to ensure smooth execution of scheduled work activities in the maintenance department.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe execution of daily maintenance work activities. Reviews work that is to be executed that day, leads daily crew briefings, makes work assignments, and conducts pre- job briefings. Performs observations of the job site to ensure safety and quality standards are being practiced.
  • Works with other plant groups such as operations, scheduling, planning and engineering to resolve equipment issues. Interfaces with operations and members of the scheduling department to ensure that equipment is being worked to the schedule. Handles issues that require impromptu changes to the daily work plan. Works with engineering and procurement to ensure configuration control is being met and proper quality parts are being used.
  • Attends various scheduling meetings in support of the work week process and other site initiatives. Individual will be assigned a work week to attend scheduling meetings that are associated with the Work Management Process. Responsible to ensure the proper execution of work within that week by ensuring all items of work week preparedness have been addressed and completed. Will also be responsible to participate on numerous station improvement initiatives such as safety, human performance and equipment improvement teams.
  • Supports training by serving on the Training Committee and overseeing on-the-job training. Involved as a part of the ongoing training program and attends meetings to ensure training is accomplishing needed goals. Responsible for conducting On-the-Job Training/Task Performance Evaluation (OJT/TPE) programs.


Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma. Two years of post-high school education or equivalent work experience in engineering or a related technical field required.
  • Five years of experience in nuclear, fossil, similar industrial facility, or military experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support a changing work schedule as required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $97,600.00 to $138,600.00 per year
