Overview

The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $64,909.00 to $99,859.00. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

 

We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Silver Spring, MD office four days per week.

Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer establishes and develops virtual and classroom learning content that develops critical knowledge, skills, and abilities. Works with subject matter experts and internal customers to identify learning needs. Works closely with the Manager of Learning Design and Delivery in the execution of objectives that supports EagleBank's Strategic Priorities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field
  • 2 years prior experience in an Instructional Design role, from the analysis phase to the evaluation phase, or other related experience developing training/presentations, facilitating learning, or creating business process documentation.
  • 1 year facilitation experience
  • Expertise in creating and designing content using MS Power Point
  • Expertise in adapting instructional content to meet specific learning needs
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint

Preferences:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems; Cornerstone
  • Working experience in the financial services/banking industries
  • Prior experience in learning needs assessment, competency assessment and delivering performance feedback
  • Familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Proficient in the use of e-learning design software, such as Articulate 360
