Full Job Description
Amazon international expansions is looking for a smart and driven Instock Manager to join our cross border inventory transfer program. The Instock Manager will be responsible for leading forecasting planning, and operational improvements projects, serving as key point of contact in Instock Management for multiple countries.

As the Instock Manager, you will own ASIN forecasting for all countries we work with for the cross border inventory program. This involves understanding SCOT forecasting models and working with emerging countries on tweaking existing forecasting models to improve forecasting coverage and accuracy.

Your role will involve partnering with product managers, program managers, instock managers, and vendor managers across LATAM, APAC, MENA, and EU to drive the above forecasting metrics. In this role, you need to be able to lead and influence both internal stakeholders as well as our vendors in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

The successful candidate possesses strong analytical acumen, with experience generating reports, and analyses. The position requires an individual who supports decisions in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail. The candidate continuously learns and contributes to knowledge management.

SQL and excel proficiency required.

Key job responsibilities

- Deliver forecasting improvement and selection growth

- Perform root cause analysis/reporting on forecasting/ operational issues, develop action plans and manage improvements

- Lead collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes with Retail and program teams

- Work with responsible country teams to meet the business demand plans via assessing deal and opportunity buys

- Recommend and drive action plans to increase inventory turns

- Work with internal teams to drive system, tools and process improvements / implementations that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually

- Develop analysis of key business metrics, with emphasis on developing and executing recommendations for improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of with Excel experience

- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience

- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control

- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
