Institutional Grants & Partnerships Manager to join our
Research & Development team in

What You'll Be Contributing: - Identify and pursue government, institutional, and other non-dilutive funding opportunities that support our innovation and commercialization priorities.
- Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications, working cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of funded initiatives, including application timelines, compliance requirements, reporting, reimbursement milestones, and audit-readiness documentation.
- Coordinate key Canadian innovation funding and tax-credit programs, including SR&ED and IRAP, working closely with technical teams and external advisors to support claim preparation and reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, funding bodies, academic institutions, and industry partners.
- Monitor the Canadian funding landscape and emerging programs, providing relevant insights and recommendations to leadership and project teams.
- Partner with Finance and internal stakeholders to support appropriate governance and effective utilization of external funding.
- Support institutional and government partnership development through networking, industry engagement, and representation at relevant events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support communication and visibility around funded innovation initiatives.
- Identify and escalate funding risks, compliance gaps, and emerging opportunities as appropriate.
What Sets You Apart: - University degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience securing and managing government or institutional funding, including grant writing, funding applications, and relationship management.
- Hands-on experience with Canadian non-dilutive funding programs such as IRAP, SR&ED, SDTC, or other provincial and federal innovation and research programs.
- Experience coordinating SR&ED claims or similar funding cycles, including working with R&D or Engineering teams and external advisors.
- Strong ability to translate technical, financial, and business information into clear and compelling funding applications, proposals, and executive-level updates.
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical, commercial, finance, and leadership teams.
- Business development, partnership development, or external stakeholder engagement experience.
- Knowledge of the Quebec and/or federal innovation funding ecosystem is a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated proposal or grant-writing experience.
- English required; French proficiency is considered an asset.
