Full Job Description

Capital Introductions sits within our Prime Brokerage Division. The Prime Brokerage is an important part of the firm’s Institutional Equity Division. PB partners with clients such as hedge funds to support their launches, growth throughout the lifecycle and day-to-day operations.

The role of the Capital introductions team is to help connect our clients such as hedge fund managers with the appropriate allocators in their fund raising efforts. We provide bespoke capital consultancy to our new launches as well as established managers when it comes to thinking about establishing a business, launching a new products, reviewing marketing presentations, thinking about fund terms, and overall investor flows and trends. We execute on customized matching and introductions via bespoke introductions, organizing roadshows, and hosting thematic and regional conferences. We also cover both Asia and global allocators who are interested in learning more and/ or investing in Asia fund managers. We work closely with our PB colleagues within PB Sales, Consulting, and Client Coverage as well as the rest of the Institutional Equity Division floor.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
