Inside Sales Sr Professional I

About your role:

As an Inside Sales Sr Professional I, you will drive revenue growth by engaging prospective clients, managing qualified opportunities, and advancing deals through the sales cycle. You will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, business development, and cross-functional partners to align client needs with Fiserv solutions. Your work helps expand client relationships, support pipeline performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you'll do:
  • Generate, qualify, and manage sales opportunities through outbound and inbound client engagement across phone, email, and other approved sales channels.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to identify client business needs, buying criteria, decision processes, and expected timelines.
  • Present solution capabilities, articulate value propositions, and align recommended offerings to client requirements and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, opportunity status, sales forecasts, and client records within customer relationship management tools.
  • Partner with marketing, sales leadership, and internal stakeholders to coordinate lead follow-up, campaign execution, and opportunity progression.
  • Prepare pricing, proposals, and sales materials in alignment with approved processes, commercial guidelines, and internal review requirements.
  • Meet or exceed assigned, sales activity, pipeline development, conversion, and revenue performance goals.


Experience you'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or consultative sales roles managing prospects and advancing opportunities through a defined sales cycle.
  • Experience using customer relationship management platforms, sales tracking tools, and reporting systems to document pipeline activity, forecast results, and manage client interactions.
  • Experience conducting client discovery, presenting solution value, handling objections, and closing sales opportunities in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience preparing proposals, pricing documentation, and sales communications using standard business software and collaboration tools.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience selling financial technology, payments, software, or other business-to-business solutions.
  • Experience working with lead generation or sales engagement platforms.
  • Experience supporting small business or mid-market client segments.
  • Experience partnering with marketing on campaign follow-up and lead conversion efforts.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
