Our sales team members represent all the great products, programs, and service options we offer to the dealership sales force and customers. The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) Senior is responsible for driving incremental dealer flow volume, finance penetration, and dealer relationships through the Mack and Volvo distribution network through the direct sales solicitation of targeted dealers. The ISS is accountable for closing sales transactions, developing relationships with Finance & Insurance Managers, updating OEM pipeline activity, and supporting our field team. This position reports to the Director Commercial Operations.
The preferred location is in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Core Responsibilities:
• Maximize our relationship and relevancy by being the trusted advisor to our dealership personnel and OEMs.
• Meet or exceeds established goals by negotiating transactions with Credit department and Dealership personnel.
• Works closely with District Finance Managers (DFMs) and Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to ensure targeted dealers are managed in a collaborative way in order to maximize effectiveness, relationship and transaction close rate.
• Quotes finance proposals, and assist in gathering financial information and profile data for customers.
• Supports Mack and Volvo OEM's efforts of conquest and targeted customers by team selling and bundling of the truck sale with our financial services.
• Liaison and quarterback with sales team, multiple departments, and OEMs to develop customer approach to maximize closing success.
• Master usage of multiple internal systems to provide support to field and dealers.
Who are you?
Education and Experience:
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar preferred
• 5+ years of experience in selling financial products, managing a credit portfolio, direct sales, or sales management experience preferred, captive equipment finance experience a plus
• Strong understanding of credit and/or operational aspects of the financial services industry and dealership environment preferred.
We are looking for someone with strong selling skills via phone, email, and in person who delivers results for dealers and customers. Offers insights, partnership, and support to our District and Regional management to improve company results.
• Intermediate level with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
• Strong acumen for system usage, learning, and understanding
• Understands Salesforce.com, and SuperTrump or similar tools
• Displayed problem-solving and customer service skills in a financial products environment, preferred
• Strong ability to close
• Team-oriented and is independent in nature with strong business judgment, attention to detail, and flexibility
Travel Requirements:
This position requires occasional domestic travel

For this position, the base pay is set at $83,500.00 - $103,100.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
