The Impact You'll Make

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you play a key role in shaping the customer experience across Danfoss Drives North America. You are often the first commercial touchpoint, helping customers and partners move from inquiry to order with confidence and clarity.

In this role, your work directly supports sales growth, long-term customer relationships, and the successful delivery of energy-efficient drive solutions. You connect people, processes, and products-making it easier for customers to do business with Danfoss.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a primary commercial contact for customers, channel partners, and OEMs, supporting inquiries, quotes, and orders through phone and digital channels
  • Prepare quotations, submittals, and project estimates, and manage order entry, pricing confirmation, and delivery follow-up using CRM and SAP tools
  • Qualify sales opportunities and partner closely with External Sales to support existing accounts and pursue new business
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Care to ensure accurate solutions and on-time order fulfillment
  • Build trusted customer relationships by providing clear product, pricing, lead-time, and application guidance, and helping customers navigate the right Danfoss resources


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in inside sales, customer care, or a similar commercial role, ideally supporting technical or industrial products
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and SAP, along with strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests accurately
  • Curiosity and confidence to learn and explain technical concepts, including exposure to drives, electrical products, or project-based sales

  4. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000- $110,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
