Full Job Description
The Inside Sales Specialist will focus initially on building relationships both internally and externally, whilst also developing other commercial skills and generating revenue. You will be responsible for prospecting for new leads, contacts and opportunities, and qualifying and closing opportunities for orders in select geographic territories. You will proactively research accounts, manage incoming inquiries, make outbound calls and attend customer visits in your assigned territory. You will work in a collaborative environment, interacting with associates from product, regional marketing, and service & sales enablement, to drive top and bottom-line sales growth.
This position reports to the Sales Director and can be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Find, develop and close sales opportunities of new and existing customers to achieve or exceed the territory sales plan, meeting individual objectives and revenue goals for the assigned territory
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and position the most relevant products to our customers, providing technical expertise and insight to discover and close new leads and opportunities
• Qualify and nurture leads from marketing and input into lead strategy
• Adopt the Sales Cloud CRM system and use its functionality and content to manage leads, opportunities and provide insight into accounts and champion sales and service processes.
• Work cross-functionally with ePro, Channel Management and Sales, Marketing & Service organization to facilitate preferred customer buying journey
The essential requirements of the job include:
• BSc in a life science discipline (or an equivalent number of years apprenticeship or experience)
• Ability to engage customers and potential customers quickly, with strong verbal/written communication skills
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Professional, confident, credible and an enthusiastic team player
• Ability to build relationships both internally and externally, across multi- sites with key stakeholders to achieve desired results
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
• Occasional travel both domestic and international to attend internal meetings and sometime external customer meetings and conferences, travel can be up to 20%.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Lab experience using antibody related techniques
• Commercial experience or evidence of a commercial mindset (preferably within the life science reagents market)
• Experience of marketing or working with marketing teams would be a bonus

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$98,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
