Compensation: $85,000
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Associate to join our team in Commack, NY. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by promoting our air-side products, including Mitsubishi Ductless, and HVAC residential and commercial parts and supplies. You will be responsible for generating new business leads, building relationships with current customers, and providing exceptional customer service. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Associate:
- Use computer database to research availability of merchandise. Fills customer orders from stock or prepares transfer from other location.
- Work with sales to take off and submit job quotes.
- Provide technical support to the sales organization, including monitoring shipping, deliver and return status, as required.
- Enter and follow orders until they are successfully delivered to the customer on time.
- Handle incoming customer requests for bids and product information, equipment specifications and applications selections.
- Provide post-sale follow-up and support as required.
- Work with customers, sales, and internal/external suppliers to resolve issues as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:- HVAC background is required.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.
- High level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative is a must.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management.
- A working knowledge of residential and commercial products, including replacement configurations, substitutions, and sell-up strategies, is highly desired.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Exceptional communications skills complete with ability to follow through.
Education and/or Experience:College degree preferred but not required. The qualified candidate must be a high-energy, self-starter with a strong work ethic. This individual will need to be motivated by a competitive industry and be results, detail and team oriented. The ideal candidate must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must possess excellent organizational skills. No relocation is offered for this position.
