Innovation and Integrated Solutions Architect

This role, part of PacStar's Innovation and Integrated Solutions team, focuses on advancing product capabilities and bridging current and future solutions. Responsibilities include defining, leading, and coordinating innovation projects to enhance tactical communications and achieve market leadership in DoD and Federal Agencies.

Reporting to the Chief Architect, this position collaborates with engineering, business development, sales, marketing, and stakeholders to shape partnerships, develop go-to-market strategies, and address new customer needs.

Location: Remote - U.S

Salary Range:$144,100 - 185,000 per year plus bonus

Your Challenge:

  • Partner with team members to develop high-level systems analysis, evaluation, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex solutions that require a thorough knowledge of operational, administrative, and technical skills

  • Integration and troubleshooting of 3rd party hardware, software, and networking technology for PacStar products

  • Develop and implement procedures for configuration and testing of systems

  • Produce and support integrated systems for Marketing, Sales, and End Customers

  • Ability to write and create documents and procedures for internal and external users

  • Responsible for quality levels maintained in PacStar products

  • Leadership as technology representative at events that require physical attendance

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • US Citizenship Required

  • 15+ years in military and/or STEM field (i.e. information technology, communication engineering, electronics, etc.)

  • Travel up to 50% in support of customers is required

  • Ability to present complex technology to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience with PC hardware and troubleshooting

  • Hands-On experience with IP networking and networking devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, etc.)

  • Experience with multiple network equipment vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.) strongly desired

  • Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi) strongly desired

  • Experience with Linux strongly desired

  • Experience with network management applications such as SolarWinds, SNMPc, Nagios, etc. is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Independent professional that can perform job assignment with limited supervision

  • Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds of test equipment at least 40 feet

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

  • Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
