À titre d’ingénieur(e) de projet / produit, vous agirez comme interface technique clé entre nos clients et nos équipes internes afin d’assurer la réussite des projets, de stimuler l’innovation et d’améliorer la satisfaction de la clientèle.

Comment vous aurez un impact

  • Fournir des conseils techniques à l’équipe d’exécution du projet.

  • Diriger des initiatives techniques comme la conception des contrôles et la qualification des produits.

  • Assurer la liaison technique entre les équipes d’ingénierie et les clients.

  • Coordonner le flux d’information technique pour répondre aux exigences du projet.

  • Représenter l’entreprise dans le cadre des évaluations des progrès des clients et répondre aux demandes techniques.

  • Analyser les exigences du client et résoudre les défis d’ingénierie.

  • Effectuer des analyses techniques, y compris la conception, les calculs et la sélection de l’équipement.

  • Préparer des plans techniques et des stratégies d’atténuation des risques pour le lancement des projets.

  • Examiner et appuyer les propositions de changements techniques et les estimations de coûts.

  • Tenir à jour la documentation à l’appui des demandes de modification contractuelle.

  • Gérer les documents techniques, les problèmes, les budgets et les échéanciers.

  • Superviser les entrepreneurs tiers pour assurer la conformité de l’équipement.

  • Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

Votre parcours

  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique (électricité).

  • Membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) et habilité(e) à signer et à apposer son sceau sur des documents d’ingénierie.

  • De 6 à 10 ans d’expérience en projets énergétiques.

  • Solide expertise en conception de circuits de commande.

  • Expérience des systèmes électriques, de l’équipement haute tension, des transformateurs et de l’appareillage de commutation.

  • Connaissance des systèmes de protection et de contrôle (atout).

  • Compétences éprouvées en leadership et en résolution de problèmes.

  • Expérience dans des environnements d’ingénierie sur mesure.

  • Maîtrise des logiciels d’ingénierie (AutoCAD, EPlan, etc.).

  • Connaissance des normes (IEC, ANSI, IEEE, CSA).

  • Solides compétences en planification et en organisation.

  • Orientation processus et amélioration continue.

  • Esprit d’équipe et excellentes aptitudes en communication.

  • Axé sur les résultats et les objectifs.

  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais).

As a Project / Product Engineer, you’ll act as the key technical interface between customers and internal teams—supporting project success, driving innovation, and strengthening customer satisfaction through custom-engineered solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Provide technical guidance to the project execution team.

  • Lead technical initiatives such as control design and product qualification.

  • Act as the technical liaison between engineering teams and customers.

  • Coordinate technical information flow to meet project requirements.

  • Represent the company in customer progress reviews and address technical inquiries.

  • Analyze client requirements and resolve engineering challenges.

  • Conduct engineering analysis including design, calculations, and equipment selection.

  • Prepare technical plans and risk mitigation strategies for project kick-offs.

  • Review and support technical change proposals and cost estimates.

  • Maintain documentation to support contractual variation claims.

  • Manage technical documents, issues, budgets, and schedules.

  • Oversee third-party contractors to ensure equipment compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power).

  • Active membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and ability to sign and stamp/affix seal to engineering documents.

  • 6–10 years of experience in power projects.

  • Strong expertise in control circuit design.

  • Experience with electrical systems, high voltage equipment, transformers, and switchgear.

  • Knowledge of protection and control systems (asset).

  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in custom engineering environments.

  • Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, EPlan, etc.).

  • Familiarity with standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE, CSA).

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Results-driven and goal-oriented.

  • Bilingual (French and English).

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
