Infrastructure Services Engineer (Mid-Level)

Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure Services Engineer to support enterprise engineering and infrastructure solutions across complex GEOINT environments. This role enables mission-critical capabilities across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal partners to ensure reliable and timely GEOINT delivery.
Your Role

As an Infrastructure Services Engineer, you will apply a multi-discipline systems engineering approach to design, integrate, and sustain infrastructure and services across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions while supporting system performance, scalability, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct requirements engineering, solutions engineering, integration, testing, and sustainment activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments
  • Perform requirements and architecture traceability to improve or automate existing systems and workflows
  • Analyze cloud service capabilities, scheduling constraints, and system performance to support infrastructure optimization
  • Develop solution designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies
  • Assist in translating mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements
  • Support allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs
  • Assist with systems integration activities across distributed environments
  • Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments
  • Contribute to technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design
  • Mentor Junior Engineers and support development of engineering best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field, or:
    • 6+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree
  • 6+ years of experience in government or industry supporting:
    • DoD / IC Acquisition, Requirements, or PPBES processes, or
    • Systems engineering of large-scale System-of-Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages
  • Working knowledge of software development frameworks
  • Documented experience supporting geospatial intelligence mission environments
  • Membership or active participation in professional organizations, such as:
    • ACSM
    • ASCE
    • ASPRS
    • OGC
    • SAREM
    • USGIF
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Photogrammetry
    • Remote sensing
    • Image science
    • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
    • Geomatics or related fields
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NSG/ASG and NRO enterprise environments
