Job Description:
Job summary
This role maintains the operational and financial data behind the Windows OS, Linux OS, Bare Metal Compute, and Private Cloud services portfolio. That means keeping service records, chargeback data, and audit documentation current. It also means turning that data into reports and Power BI dashboards that Private Cloud Compute leadership and Finance use for planning and decisions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage service records and related data in the service catalog and other repositories for Windows OS, Linux OS, Bare Metal Compute, and Private Cloud
- Track portfolio changes and prepare materials for review meetings
- Support budget planning by working with the budget planning team and product owners on financial analysis for core infrastructure services
- Build chargeback/showback reports, including gathering usage and cost data and explaining the key drivers
- Partner with Finance and other teams to keep expenses categorized correctly and tracked against budget
- Supply data to Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing, and review SOWs and contracts at a basic level
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for financials, capacity/utilization, and portfolio status
- Keep audit and risk status records current and collect required documentation
- Coordinate across services on upgrades, new offerings, and other portfolio changes
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years in a financial, business analyst, or technology operations role at a medium or large enterprise
- Working knowledge of tech-relevant finance concepts: costs, allocations, chargebacks/showbacks, budgeting, forecasting
- Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards
- Comfortable working with technical teams and grasping high-level infrastructure concepts (OS services, bare metal compute, private cloud)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator in writing and in person
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise financial systems and cost center structures
- Background in IT cost transparency or service-based financial analysis
- Familiarity with vendor and contract processes (SOWs, renewals)
- Experience with infrastructure or cloud services at a large enterprise
- Prior work in audit, risk, or compliance
