Senior Cross Functional Systems Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX or Jersey City, NJ or Tampa, FL
The individual should be proficient in Engineering solutions across Compute, Storage, Network, Database Management Systems, Identity & Access Management (including Secrets Mgmt. and PKI), Amazon Web Services & Kubernetes based compute.
Skills:
• Hypervisor / OS / Host based firewall / Application Stack / Network / Identity & Access Management
• EC2, OpenShift or EKS (Kubernetes) / SDN Networking / Identity Federation / Multi-Region access and Disaster Recovery / F5 GTM
• AWS Landing Zone fundamentals including: Account structure, VPC, Security Groups, Cloud WAN, Private Link & VPC Endpoint Connectors, EBS/EFS/FSx/S3, NLB
• Solid understanding and experience in Database Services delivery & availability (AWS RDS, AWS Aurora Global)
Shared Service Application Integration to products such as
• Apigee (API Gateway)
• PING (reverse proxy)
• Redis (Database/Caching)
• Confluent Kafka (streaming)
• IBM MQ (message queue)
• Hashi Corp Vault (secrets management)
• Snowflake (database access)
Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in an infrastructure engineering discipline
• At least 2 Years experience in cross functional engineering (multi-discipline: compute + storage + network + database management systems + shared services integration + AWS Platform)
Mandatory Skills: Cloud Infra ReArchitecting.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
