THE ROLE
The Infrastructure - Domain Architect is responsible for the architecture, design, integration and evolution of Infrastructure technology solutions supporting CFMWS. The incumbent serves as the technical authority for cloud, identity, infrastructure, collaboration and security platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with organizational architecture standards and strategic priorities.
The Infrastructure - Domain Architect develops current and future-state architectures supporting digital transformation, cloud modernization and cybersecurity initiatives. The role provides technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution lifecycle including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation planning and operational transition.
Working closely with project teams, operational teams, cybersecurity specialists, project managers, vendors and business stakeholders, the incumbent ensures technology solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, governance requirements and long-term technology roadmaps.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field, AND several years of experience in technical architecture, application architecture, solution architecture or a related field

In end-to-end solution design and architecture
In systems architecture and technical architecture and design
In multi-technology environments
In software integration and relational databases

In contracts management
In budget administration
In leading multi-discipline teams
In providing advice on strategic issues

In creating and facilitating presentations
In using formal architecture frameworks and modeling tools
In integrated solution design
In Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS)-bases development environments
In Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems, an asset

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
This position is a two-year term.
