Full Job Description
THE WORK:

  • You'll assist in planning, coordinating, processing, and expediting construction, modernization, installation, and repair projects for schools and administrative facilities.
  • You'll serve as a liaison among project management units, maintenance and operations, environmental consultants, and abatement contractors.
  • You'll review RFAs with technical staff to define scope of work and evaluate project drawings.
  • You'll conduct funding reviews, coordinate with accounting, and prepare funding request packages.
  • You'll plan and track project progress, including monitoring and reporting labor charges.
  • You'll request and evaluate cost proposals from environmental consultants for accuracy and feasibility.
  • You'll estimate and manage costs for asbestos and lead abatement projects.
  • You'll initiate and administer asbestos abatement, lead remediation, A&B, Task Order, and JOC contracts.
  • You'll coordinate and schedule abatement activities to support demolitions, renovations, and temporary occupancy arrangements.
  • You'll review contractor submittals, daily logs, and certified payroll for invoice approval.
  • You'll analyze scope changes and assess the validity of change orders and cost increases.
  • You'll support project closeout, certification efforts, and oversee bid processing and contract awards.
  • You'll attend job start meetings to review safety requirements and ensure documentation and communication with project stakeholders.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or environmental.
  • Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may substitute experience on a year-for-year basis and demonstrate extensive proficiency in the duties indicated
  • Minimum of 3 years full time paid professional experience in the Project/Construction Management of projects, preferably in an educational facility construction projects or public agency projects, involved in all phases of the construction projects including pre-construction activities and planning, monitoring construction progress and close-out activities.


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements and environmental procedures
  • Use of Asset and Work Management system (Maximo)


$114,000 - $126,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
