Now Hiring: Infrastructure Administrator

📍 Addison, IL | Full-Time | 100% Onsite (This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.)

As a member of our Information Technology Team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our corporate office, branch locations, and warehouse operations. This hands-on position is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading infrastructure projects, and ensuring reliable technology across both on-premises and cloud environments. Our Infrastructure Administrator is required to have experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, virtualization, and enterprise systems in a multi-site environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a proactive technology professional who enjoys building, maintaining, and improving enterprise infrastructure while supporting a growing organization.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and storage.
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
  • Experience supporting AWS or other cloud platforms in hybrid environments.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills; Python experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or container-based platforms.
  • Experience monitoring system performance, security, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Ability to identify recurring infrastructure issues and recommend long-term improvements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite at our Addison, IL headquarters five days per week. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and application integrations is preferred.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is preferred.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain and support core IT infrastructure across corporate offices, branch locations, and warehouse operations.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Support hybrid infrastructure, including AWS-hosted systems and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and system performance issues.
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools.
  • Maintain business-critical applications, including ERP-related integrations.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, availability, and security.
  • Contribute to backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and system reliability initiatives.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse technology systems.
  • Build strong relationships with branch and warehouse teams by providing responsive technical support.
  • Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and technical procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing issues from initial request through successful resolution.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of progressive IT support experience in a midsize or enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience designing and implementing IT infrastructure for new and existing warehouse locations.
  • Experience working in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments, including cloud migrations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems across multiple locations.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Physical Demands
  • Work comfortably in both office and warehouse environments, including varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment.
  • Frequently sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl while installing or servicing equipment.
  • Occasionally travel between company locations.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain the visual, hearing, and communication abilities necessary to support employees and technology equipment.

Work Location
  • This position is based in Addison, IL and requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday.
  • Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.
