Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Communication Information Technology Specialist role supporting the Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1). The candidate will recognize information as a resource critical to the command's mission success. The candidate will possess skills directly related to supporting the information technology day-to-day requirements of the command and providing comprehensive networking, maintenance, audio/visual, telecommunication, and technical support.

This position is located in Yuma, AZ.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Provide end-to-end support of classified and unclassified information systems and peripherals.
. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to IT systems and their peripherals.
. Coordinated major repairs to IT systems and peripherals.
. Support telecommunications, video conferencing, and other media to facilitate remote meetings and briefings.
. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for communications, IT systems, and Information Assurance.
. Maintain local networks and assist in establishing and maintaining standalone Local Area Networks and IT assets.
. Assist in accounting for all communications equipment.
. Plan and coordinate IT asset administration, maintenance, and security.
. Administration of IT security updates, hardware, and software.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 6 years of progressive Information Technology (IT) related duties and would be familiar with DoW and DoN cyber security policies and procedures.
. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science.

Desired Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+)

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
