Information Technology Manager
Position Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Certification & Safety application maintenance, development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines
- Manage the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Ensure adherence to software development, best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, regulators, peers, partners and direct reports
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of software solutions and adherence to service level agreements
- Manage budget and financial plan for the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business teams, project managers, and IT support, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems and processes
- Identify, recruit, develop, engage, and retain team talent
- Coach, counsel, mentor and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 10+ years of experience in information technology or technical support
- 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
- 5+ years of years in software development and collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile Software Development/ Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience in DevSecOps and Automation
- Exposure to implementing AI solutions in existing engineering software solutions
- Experience coaching and mentoring managers, leads, and individual reports to continuous learning and improvement
- Experience in Aerospace domain
